What is Spartan SGX?

Spartan Group Exercise (SGX) is a fitness training program geared towards ultimately achieving each individual’s Total Fitness. It is not about curling, running or biking, it is about pushing, pulling, jumping, stretching, breathing and sweating. SGX is designed to create an exhilarating and community driven group atmosphere of fitness, nutrition, and performance that optimizes individual performance in Spartan Races, as well as daily life

 

Spartan SGX Training Breakdown

Phase 1: FUNCTION

Focus: Athleticism, Attitude, & Nutrition / Purpose: to improve movement, and motivation.

 

Phase 2: FITNESS

Focus: Stamina, Readiness / Purpose: to improve fitness and health by increasing work capacity.

 

PHASE 3: PERFORMANCE

Focus: Tenacity and Power / Purpose: To maximize physical output and undefine your “comfort zone”
